But what is crazy to think about is that this time last year the shit was about to hit the fan. I was about to go into preterm labor, my cervix was shortening and none of my shithead doctors would help me. We hauled ass to a suburban hospital and were admitted straight away. I stayed there for a little over 4 weeks. Leaving my OB and heading to the burbs was the smartest thing we ever did. I am not sure if my son would be here today if we hadn't.
I have very few pictures of myself pregnant and not confined to a bed. So this is what I looked like this time last year.

Our little boy is rocking the house. Today was downright monumental.
- He started articulating da, da, da in a very purposeful and clear way.
- He started to sway a little when he heard music.
- He got a TOOTH!
I know, boring boring. But we are siked... And sad to see his grow so fast.

This time last year I was as infertile and childless as I am this time this year. But then I was morning a seemingly inevitable implosion of my marriage instead of a failed IVF. I'm not sure which was better, then or now? Hrm. I sense a blog post brewing.
Cloning technology would be much appreciated in my house.
D has grown so much, gorgeous!
He is absolutely gorgeous! Go D!!!
And Yay for A- I ~love~ that place! (I would have really liked to have been able to walk around during labor more- but I'll take the trade offs of a really caring & great hospital!)
Sorry you are stretched so thin- let me know if you need anything now that I am finding myself with wide open days...
Oh sweetie...not boring at all. Lame ass me lives for these update posts on my favorite internet nephew. By the way - he is so freakin cute! I love the picture of you from last year. I know that those times were not the best for each of us, but in a way I'm glad they happened. If not I wouldn't of found you quite the way I did And one day when life slows down we'll actually get to meet and have some real fun (well maybe us and the kiddos!) ((Hugs))
Yeah for a toof! :) D is getting so big...and even more adorable with each passing month.
Life with baby is a whirlwind. Sounds like you guys are enjoying every moment. Thanks for the update! *hugs*
What a nice update! He is adorable and I am also a little sad these babies grow and change so quickly...
*chop chop chop* I am using my slap chop on you, as requested.
