Show and Tell - Oct 12, 2008

It has been an especially trying few days. I am very short on patience, and have not been very kind to my care takers. DH is suffering from my bad attitude and I have been failing to show my mom the kind of gratitude she deserves for, well.... treating me like a princess. I know I am lucky, I am lucky for every day longer that I stay pregnant and for all of the support I have gotten from friends and family. But some days, the walls of my house just feel like they are closing in around me.

So this weeks show and tell is for something that arrived to me from far away from some dear friends: A care package full of yummy snacks, but even better, a handmade bib for the roomie that I LOVE! Thanks S + A! Love you!!!

Awww...what wonderful friends and what a great bib! I'm sure all of the memories of an impatient bed-rester will fade away as soon as your faithful caretakers see roomie! :) You're doing phenomenal...in my humble opinion...all circumstances considered.

I love the bib - it's so cute! I'm sorry about the rough last few days - when you don't get to see anyone because you're in a four walled prison, anyone around has to be a bit understanding. They'll understand even if they don't show it now. And if they do show that they understand now - well then they're an even better person than I would be in their shoes, LOL! I got mad at poor J yesterday because he brought me vanilla pudding when i asked for chocolate. And my mom forgot my magazine so I snapped at her. Poor people don't deserve my rants, but it's hard not to snap sometimes. Do you find the same? It's funny - if we lived closer our husbands would probably gladly lock you and I in a room together so we could complain at one another instead of them, LOL! I'd like that :-) ((Hugs)) - another week is almost down! Halloween is just around the corner :-)

You're almost there. Do you have any showers coming up to look forward to? Aren't the care packages the best! If its any help - I felt the last few weeks went the fastest...hang in there. I know...it sucks. I swear I'd be in a mental hospital if it weren't for benadryl and anti-depression meds. ;)
